On Wednesday, Google presented Nexus 7 tablet's next generation. With the hopes to follow the achievements of Nexus 7, Google made the tablet lighter and slimmer. It also featured an all-black design that was outfitted with a 5-megapixel rear-facing camera including dual speakers.
2013's Nexus 7's base cost was US$200. Its 32GB version would be worth US$269. It would be powered by the latest version of Google's mobile operating system called android 4.3 Jelly Bean.
Pre-orders for the device at Best-Buy has gone up even before Google launched it. Best Buy only put "coming soon" for the store pickup but consumers already availed the refresehed version of Nexus 7. The first Nexus 7 that was manufactured by OEM in partnership with Samsung, went on sale in November 2012. The launching was made shortly after the iPad mini. Benedict Evans, and industry watcher, stated that about 6.8 million Nexus 7 devices were sold.
