An Indian businessman died after jumping off from a private hospital building in Hyderabad city in Telangana state in India on Tuesday afternoon in an apparent suicide.

According to The Times of India, Ritish Reddy, a 27-year-old resident of Vanasthalipuram in Hyderabad, jumped from a window on the third floor of the hospital building in LB Nagar.

The LB Nagar police said the Indian businessman arrived at the hospital in his car. After parking his vehicle, he went to the third floor of the building and jumped from the window.

The police noted that after stopping the car, the Indian businessman rushed into the hospital building. Security personnel who tried to stop him told police that Reddy ran across the alley, saying his relative was admitted to the top floor.

He was found dead a few minutes later. The police rushed to the scene after receiving information about the incident. Reddy reportedly died on the spot, and police transported his body to the mortuary.

The police said that they had launched an investigation to determine why the young businessman decided to commit suicide. Reddy reportedly just got married a few months ago.

Car Driven by Indian Businessman Allegedly Involved in Accident

Ritish Reddy's suicide became more mysterious after two persons riding a bike made an appearance later at the hospital and inquired about the Indian businessman.

According to police, the two bikers told passersby that the car driven by Reddy was involved in an accident and sped off when they came out looking for the vehicle and its driver. Police are now looking for the bikers, examining CCTV footage to identify the unidentified duo.
