A British businessman dies after a freaky accident. While he was living in a tourism hotspot in Southeast Asia, authorities said that he accidentally impaled himself while trying to use the bathroom.
The entrepreneur was identified as Gareth John Wilson, a 54-year-old engineer from Staines, Surrey. Authorities shared other details regarding the incident here.
British Businessman Accidentally Impales Himself in Bathroom!
The Daily Star reported that Gareth John accidentally impaled himself in his home in Pattaya, Thailand. The brutal incident happened on Wednesday, Apr. 3.
Gareth's wife Lek Wilson, shared that her husband was preparing to use the bathroom in the morning before the incident happened, as reported by Pattaya Mail.
However, Lek added that Gareth was overcome by dizziness. The British businessman eventually collapsed, with his face landing into the glass door, which shattered upon impact.

Brith Business Dies Due To Severe Injuries
Local authorities said that when they arrived, they discovered Gareth's lifeless body in the bedroom. They found a significant chest wound after inspecting his corpse.
Authorities confirmed that Gareth Wilson died because of severe chest trauma, as well as substantial blood loss. His devastated wife tried to save the businessman's life by contacting the Bangkok Hospital Pattaya.
However, despite the best efforts of medical responders, Gareth succumbed to his severe injuries.
"I cannot believe what happened, I'm in shock," said Lek.
Wilson's wife described him as a strong and healthy man, saying that Gareth was "everything" to her and their family.
