Tesla is now in its 4th week of layoffs as Elon Musk confirmed another wave of job cuts. Ever since the billionaire announced that he wants to be "absolutely hard core" when terminating workers, the EV company has been conducting layoff after layoff.
Because of this, more and more Tesla employees are becoming hopeless as they face uncertainty within the company. Here are the latest details about the newest Tesla job cut round.
Tesla Enters 4th Week of Layoffs
Elon Musk is still investigating Tesla terminations, as the EV company sent out a new round of layoff notices on Sunday, May. 5. Various impact employees shared their thoughts on social media platforms.
Some Tesla workers who received a termination notice shared their experience on LinkedIn, describing their hopelessness within the company.
"After watching my team gradually slimmed down week after week since mid-April, I received the dreaded 'Hello Employee' email this Sunday afternoon," said a Tesla staff on LinkedIn, as reported by Business Insider.
After receiving notice, another Tesla employee shared a screenshot of the email she had received. She also posted it on LinkedIn, stating that the communication validated her last day of employment with the EV company.

Tesla Workers Affected by New Layoff
According to Electrek's latest report, people familiar with the matter said the latest Tesla layoff affects employees across numerous departments. These include engineering, service, and software.
Many received the dreaded employment-level email notice between May 3 and May 5. Some experts said the latest job cuts were already expected after Tesla CEO Elon Musk fired Rebecca Tinucci, the former Tesla charging head, and her entire team.
After that, the billionaire informed other Tesla executives that they would be terminated next if they didn't increase layoffs within their teams. Elon explained that he had various reasons for the terminations.
Among these is Tesla's fast headcount growth over the last few years. He said this issue led to role duplications and hiring inefficiencies.
