Donald Trump to Join Business Roundtable Quarterly Meeting

According to Forbes, Donald Trump will engage in a moderated discussion at the group's meeting in Washington on June 13. His campaign said in a statement that the former president will talk about his plans to rejuvenate the American economy.

Influential members like Blackstone's Stephen Schwarzman, Advanced Micro Devices' Lisa Su, Comcast's Brian Roberts, JP Morgan's Jamie Dimon, and Apple's Tim Cook might attend the Business Roundtable.

Dell founder Michael Dell and Fox CEO Lachlan Murdoch are also members of the group. However, Forbes reported that there's still no confirmation of who will participate in the meeting.

Is Joe Biden Invited Too?

Donald Trump's rival, President Joe Biden, was also invited. However, since he will be overseas for the G7 meeting, White House Chief of Staff Jeff Zients will represent him in this important event.

Trump's participation in the meeting follows his recent efforts to court business executives, which include meetings with oil industry stakeholders in April and donors in New York last month.
