A nationwide recall has been issued for all Diamond Shruumz edible products by Prophet Premium Blends.

The reason behind the recall is the presence of toxic levels of a chemical that is commonly found in certain mushrooms. According to CBS News, this chemical has caused symptoms in 39 individuals across 20 states.

Diamond Shruumz Products Recalled

Prophet Premium Blends recently received reports of individuals experiencing illness after consuming a full chocolate bar. In response, the company has initiated a thorough examination of its ingredient analysis, revealing elevated levels of muscimol.

Prophet Premium Blends announced that they have halted production and distribution of the Diamond Shruumz product line. This decision comes as both the company and the FDA work together to investigate the root cause of the severe adverse effects.

A recall has been issued for Diamond Shruumz cones, chocolate bars, and gummies, regardless of their dosage strength.

The reason behind this recall is that these products contain muscimol, a chemical typically found in certain types of mushrooms.

The Santa Ana, California-based company has made this announcement in a recall notice posted by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) on Friday, June 28.

Friday's recall has been issued more than two weeks after the FDA issued a warning to consumers regarding the consumption of Diamond Shruumz microdosing chocolate bars. The FDA cautioned that individuals in four states had become sick, with some requiring intubation.
