SanDisk Corporation, manufacturer of storage solutions and memory modules, has poured in money to Pebbles Interfaces for an undisclosed amount. The investment is part of the company's goal to invest US $75 million in startups for three years beginning 2012.
Israel-based Pebbles manufactures and distributes hardware and applications that integrate 3D gesture technology with computers, smart TVs and electronic gadgets.

"We believe that human gestures and human interaction have the potential to unleash exciting new applications and product categories, which in turn, will drive increased demand for flash memory solutions," Sadana said.
Emil Alon, CEO of Pebbles, said that SanDisk will also bring along its knowledge in the OEM markets. "We believe our technology will revolutionize the way people interface with devices," he said.
