HAO Capital announced it had taken part in LP Amina's third round of capital financing. HAO Capital is a China-focused private equity firm. The financing round gathered a total of US$20 million. Other investors that participated in the round include Keytone Ventures, WLR China Energy Infrastructure Fund, and Qiming Ventures.
LP Amina said that the net proceeds from the funding round would be used to grow the firm's core pollution control business. LP Amina is among the top contributors of De-NOx, a pollution solutions made available for energy plants in China. The company would also use the funds to encourage the expansion of clean energy technologies in locations worldwide, especially in the US and China.
"HAO Capital first invested in LP Amina in 2010 in its second round of funding. With the growth it has achieved since then we are delighted to invest further to help drive its future development and help address the multiple challenges the energy industry is facing today. Repeat investments of this nature are typical for HAO Capital, and demonstrate our ability to support companies through different phases of growth," HAO Capital co-founder and partner Elaine Wong explained.
