Sudhir Chaturvedi had been the Vice President and Financial Services Head for the Americas at Infosys. Chaturvedi announced his exit from the company. This marked another high profile exit at Infosys, India's second biggest software services company.
An Infosys spokesperson confirmed with PTI that Sudhir Chaturvedi had resigned from the company.
Infosys co-founder and Chairman NR Narayan Murthy returned in the company last June. He aimed to revive the sagging fortunes of Infosys. On the other hand, Sudhir Chaturvedi left Infosys in the middle of the company's organizational restructuring.
Apart from Chaturvedi's resignation, Basab Pradhan made an exit last July. Pradhan was Infosys' head of global sales. Last year, Shaji Farooq quit Infosys to join the company's rival, Wipro, after serving the software services company for a decade. Farooq was Infosys senior vice president and head of financial services for the Americas, the same post that Chaturvedi left.
In the second quarter, the North American market contributed to Infosys' revenue a total of 61.4%.
