Google Ventures welcomes new investment partners

Google Ventures welcomed Shanna Tellerman and Dave Munichiello, its two new investment partners, to its ranks. It also announced announced the entry of new EIR Nikhil Chandhok in the firm. This was according to a report published by TechCrunch.

Tellerman founded Sims Ops Studios (Wild Pockets), the game development company that was acquired by Autodesk in 2010. She worked as its product line manager and launched Autodesk 360 applications, said the report.

Munichiello is from Kiva Systems and has worked in the robotics industry for four years. He had also served in the Air Force under a special-ops team, the report stated.

Chandhok was the former head of Product for Music, Paid Content and Live Platfrom for YouTube. He also had valuable participation in the launching of VEVO, YouTube's iPhone app, paid subscribtion, and other products, TechCrunch reported.

Google Ventures currently has about USD1.2 billion under its management and is getting ready for a very busy 2014. It is also looking to add more investment partners in the near future, the report noted.
