Christopherson Business Travel has purchased All Seasons Travel for an undisclosed amount to expand beyond the Western US. The Birmingham, Alabama-based seller was represented by Georgia's Innovative Travel Acquisitions Inc, according to Travel Biz Monitor.
After the deal, both travel agencies will conduct operations under the Christopherson brand. The merged $380-million company will employ over 300 travel professionals across the US, according to a press release. Mike Cameron of Salt Lake City-based Christopherson will continue as the Chief Executive Officer of the formed company, the report detailed.
Cameron said of the deal: "We couldn't be more pleased with the timing of such a key merger. The joined company immediately captures a stronger market position that will allow for greater business efficiencies, enhanced travel technology, and formidable buying power."
In 2012, Christopherson booked $341 million in travel and is on track to increase to $500 million by 2015. The company's vision is to continue growing through new ways to enhance its clients' travel management program, Travel Biz Monitor reported.
