Adidas pulls out World Cup T-shirts after Brazilian authorities complaints

By

World Cup's yellow and green bikini tops upset Brazilian authorities thinking the shirts give the country an 'over sexualized' invitation, reported Metro UK.

For decades the Brazil put efforts to keep sexualized slogans like "Looking to Score." It may come to no surprise when the Brazilian Board of Tourism opposed the product.

Brazil's tourism ministry stressed the shirts disapproval: "Such an attitude indirectly contributes to committing crimes such as sexual child and adolescent exploitation."

What is Adidas doing with the World Cup? They are the main sponsor and supplier for the tournament's Brazuca ball.

Adidas showed immediate corporation in their statement : "Adidas always pays close attention to the opinion of its consumers and partners."

The shirts were removed and will no longer be sold in Brazil.
