Comedian Tim Wilson died last Wednesday, according to several reports. The 52 year old Columbus-born comedian incurred a heart attack leading to his death.
Timothy Collins Wilson was born in 1961 was a stand-up comedian. He was also a musician who played country music. Wilson's act combined both comedy and music. Wilson graduated from Brookstone and later made a mark in the industry with his humorous country music. His songs included "Garth Brooks Ruined My Life" and "First Baptist Bar & Grill". He was also the co-writer of the Jeff Foxworthy's hit song, "The Redneck 12 Days of Christmas".
Wilson was also a favorite guest on radio shows. He was also a guest at the top rating show, The Tonight Show with Jay Leno. The comedian and country singer was also the co-writer of the book "Happy New Year-Ted" where he collaborated with Roger C. Keiss. He attended Presbyterian College in Clinton and graduated with a major in English.
