Telford Festival will kick off on August 29 until August 30 with acts from Lawson and Union J. The two day celebration would start with an 80s themed Friday night at the Telford Town Park arena. The festival would also include a performance from rising British pop singer-songwriter Tich. Tickets would go on sale by 10 am tomorrow.
The Telford Festival had been organized by Liz Hobbs Group. According to commercial director Caroline Sheppard, "Union J and Lawson are both top selling bands and it is really exciting to have them performing in Telford for this year's T-Live, which promises to be a fantastic event. We look forward to announcing further acts, including Friday night's headliner."
For the Friday night 80s themed party, the performances have not been finalized yet. However, the organizers promised the audience of first class music extravaganza.
Lawson, a London based male act, had four sold out tours including dates in New York and LA. Meanwhile, Union J are closely watched to follow the footsteps of boy bands made popular by the hit talent show X Factor.
