According to sources that told Yahoo Sports, Caron Butler has already chosen which to sign up with. Butler refused an offer from the Miami Heat and signed with the Oklahoma City Thunder instead. The source continued on saying that Butler had informed the teams regarding his choice last Friday morning.
Butler has secured a contract buyout from the Milwaukee Buck. This had transpired early Thursday morning wherein the basketball star was expected to clear any waivers by 5 pm on Saturday. Butler will sign a contract to play for the rest of the season with Thunder stars including Russell Westbrook and Kevin Durant.
Butler’s decision to sign with the Thunder could have a big boost on the team. This was after the Oklahoma City Thunder lost three games in a row for the first time this season leaving them with 43-15. The 33 year old Butler has averaged 15.3 points per game and has been in the basketball industry for 12 years.
