Charlier Adam, Stoke's midfielder, got a little too hyped after he puts up a challenge against Olivier Giroud. The midfielder was charged with violent conduct by the FA when he showed his bad behavior towards Arsenal's striker Giroud.
According to a report from ExpressCo, Adam escaped sanctions after stepping on Giroud. The incident occurred during the 1-0 win over the Gunners held at the Britannia Stadium. However, it was in after a replay of the incident that was caught on cam that the FA decided to take some serious action against Adam.
The FA released a statement saying, "Stoke City's Charlie Adam has today been charged by The FA for violent conduct, following an incident with Arsenal's Olivier Giroud. The incident, which was not seen by the match officials but caught on video, occurred during the fixture between the two sides at the Britannia Stadium on Saturday 1 March 2014. Adam has until 6pm on Tuesday 4 March 2014 to respond to the charge."
