Today is the celebration of World Book Day to help teachers and readers to read useful and more inspiring books. This was according to World Book Day organizers who said that a tendency of having secondary school students read easier books bemoans teachers. Meanwhile the Writers of Passage poll list has garnered around 7000 votes from people all over the UK for the best read books recommended. The list features top 10 picks that would help to shape up and inspire teenagers’ minds.
The top 10 includes best sellers including the Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins and John Green, The Perks of Being a Wallflower by Stephen Chbosky and a Streetcat Named Bob by James Bowen. The list features books that are more young-adult and a mix of theme and genre. The Diary of a Young Girl and To Kill a Mockingbird is also listed among the top 10. Further, The Fault In Our Stars by John Green is also included, reported TheGuardian.
