Hours after Kobe Bryant was declared a goner for the remaining season due to a continuous aching knee, news broke out which was considered to be a sad loss for the Lakers.

Legendary coach Phil Jackson would exit Los Angeles, reported LA Times. According to a previous report, Jackson would finalize a deal with New York Knicks.

Late Wednesday night, Jackson had officially agreed to be a part of the Knicks by becoming the presidents of its basketball operations. This was according to multiple reports which was also said that Jackson’s move had erased lingering hopes that the Lakers could still surface amid bungling ways.

According to LA Times, Jackson signed a contract with Knicks that was valued more than USD15 million per season. It could also conclude Jackson to partly own the team.

The end of the season for Knicks has now appeared to be a huge success.
