The previous weeks where in turmoil after the mysterious disappearance of the Malaysian Airlines flight MH370 last March 8. The jetliner went missing after an hour it left Kuala Lumpur International Airport carrying 239 passengers bound for Beijing. Earlier reports said the plane might have run out of fuel. Following reports cited passengers with stolen passports on board the airplane which was first seen to be an act of terror causing the disappearance of the flight. However, this was later on ruled out and the first leg of the investigation stretched to the waters of Vietnam.
Following days of excruciating search and rescue, the plane was nowhere in sight. The operations were joined by 13 other countries with more than 40 ships and 49 aircrafts looking for the missing Boeing 777. The search also stretched to the Andaman Islands after reports said that the plane went flying for more than four hours after it lost communication with the Malaysian air traffic control.
However, latest developments on the missing plane surprised the whole world on Saturday, March 15. The eight day of the search still resulted to empty answers regarding where the jetliner is. Meanwhile, the daily press conference in Malaysia last March 15 was something very significant. This was after the country’s Prime Minister Najib Razak took the lead in announcing the new development of the missing aircraft.
Flight MH370 was probably hijacked. The missing jetliner could have flown up to 7 hours from its first known route and that its transponders were deliberately turned off by someone on board the plane. Apart from these information, the location of the plane was still left unidentified.
