In 2009, singer/rapper Chris Brown was sentenced to a five year in-patient rehab following his guilty plea against assault charges filed by then-girlfriend Rihanna. The sentence would end later this year but was revoked after Brown made some serious misconduct.
A judge had ordered Brown to stay in jail after he told a group during his session therapy that he was “good at using guns and knives." The remark of the singer violated probation of his sentence. A hearing was set on April 23 after his arrest last Friday in a rehab center based in California.
The reasons why Brown was dismissed from the facility were also cited by the court last Monday. According to Superior Court Judge James R. Brandlin, rehab authorities where Brown was attending therapy sessions said that Brown gave a surprising remark when asked to reflect on the things he was good at. Three other violations in the facility were cited including Brown refusing to take a drug test, an alarming statement and touching the elbow of a female client.
