Today, Adobe announced during the #AdobeSummit that its digital marketing arm has surpassed USD1 billion in revenue in the fiscal year of its 2013. The multinational computer software firm also said that it has reached a growth of 24% over year revenue during the first quarter of 2014. Further, Adobe said that 64% of Fortune 50 listed companies used the Adobe Marketing Cloud, reported CMSWire.
Following the announcement, hashtag #AdobeSummit trends social media network Twitter. The numbers announced by the software company are what people actually see in the industry today, cited CMSWire.
According to a CMSWire report, a study from "Digital Roadblock: Marketers Struggle to Reinvent Themselves," showed that 64% of marketers in the industry know the significant changes occurring on their roles over the next year. The study also cites 40% of these marketers want to reinvent themselves but only a small 14% know how to do it.
On the other hand, Adobe said it could bring 86% of marketers in the industry up to date following the release of Adobe Experience Manager. This would be launched during the Adobe Summit Digital Marketing Conference, reported CMSWire.
