Office for iPad has finally pushed through after several years of rumors. During a press conference in San Francisco today, Julia White, Microsoft Office’s general manager, said that the company has launched the latest mobile Office app for iPad. The rumors regarding the release of the app could be dated back in 2012 and 2013. However, it was only today that it has finally arrived, reported The Verge.
Meanwhile, the Microsoft for iPad app is similar to that of Office for iPhone app. Users can find three separate apps in Apple’s App Store including Word, PowePoint and Excel. The iPad version would use the Microsoft Office 365 subscription for editing features for free.
Office for iPhone is currently being updated to make easier to use. PowerPoint, Excel and Word would be included with Office for iPad. The Verge reported that it would be similar to the versions of Mac and Windows desktop.
