According to a report from NYDailyNews, the actor wanted to have Cap’s shield to keep him hidden from autograph seekers and the paparazzi.
Captain America: The Winter Soldier opened earlier ahead of its debut in North America set on Friday. The new Marvel movie bagged a hefty USD75.2 million, reported MTV. The new Captain America movie came after The Avengers, Thor: The Dark World and Iron Man 3. In 2011, Captain America: The First Avenger brought home USD370.5 million.
The Captain America movie was seen to overthrow its predecessor. This was according to an MTV News report. Meanwhile, it is not yet certain if Captain America will join Iron Man on the list of top ranks but “The Winter Soldier” was seen to dominate theaters this weekend.
