Dong Nguyen, the creator of the infamous Flappy Bird mobile app, developed the game in a few days time. However, the classic look of the game and its super difficult levels to pass has rocked the mobile apps world. This made Nguyen also a superstar and a rich man after the app made USD50000 a day on ads. However, the app developer was not happy with the turn of events as he said his life became less private. This prompted Nguyen to end Flappy Bird’s availability on the app store.
However, recent reports said that Nguyen was preparing to reinstate the game. This was after he replied to a tweet sent by a user asking when Flappy Bird would be made available. Nguyen’s brief reply said that it would be back soon but did not indicate any specific dates.
Mobile games have surged this year by 11 percent since 2009, according to a data from the Strategy Analytics. Meanwhile, mobile developers have been looking to creating games that are jam packed with graphics and good gameplay. However,
Nguyen opposes to this as reflected on his tweet. Nguyen tweeted regarding mobile apps saying, "Fun games do not need to be complex."
