South Korean tech giant, Samsung's Galaxy K Zoom price point is finally set at EUR 519 for German market. It will hit the shelves in mid-May.
Among other phones released by Samsung, Galaxy K remains the second smartphone to Galaxy S4 Zoom with a specialization.
The Galaxy K zoom prides itself with a 20.7 megapixel BSI CMOS sensor positioned in the back complimented by a Xenon flash with additional functions for low-light images from optical image stabilizer (OIS).
Found at the rear is the 10x optical zoom as well as AF/AE Separation (Auto Focus/ Auto Exposure Separation); Pro Suggest mode grants users five filter settings. For those who can't get enough Selfies- it comes with a alarm. It also showcases a 2-megapixal front-facing camera.
Similar to Samsung's 2014 flagship Galaxy S5, the Galaxy K zoom runs a android 4.4 KitKat. The phone is energized by a hexa-core processor (a quad-core 1.3GHz ad a dual-core 1.7GHz). The chipset under the hood remains hidden in the dark until the company decides to fill us in. Until then, we are left guessing it to be the Exynos 5 Hexa SoC paired with a Mali-T264 GPU.
The phone shines a 2GB of RAM, 8 GB of inbuilt storage expandable via microSD card (up to 64GB) and 2430mAh battery.
In terms of connectivity, options include Wi-Fi, Micro-USB, Bluetooth and NFC; found under a LTE and 3G.
