Supernatural Season 10 starts off with Dean Winchester, who is already a demon.
Dean on the past season opened his eyes and exposed his new black demonic eyes. His greatest nightmare turned into reality.
The younger Winchester brother, portrayed by Padalecki, concluded that "the final 30 seconds of the finale certainly sets up what's going to happen with Season 10."
Jared Padalecki was quoted by Enstarz, "Yeah, he's a monster, I gotta kill him."
"Obviously I think Sam and Cas would try to not have to kill Dean, but I think if it came down to it and he was killing some people, we couldn't really give him a free pass."
Meanwhile, Padalecki gave clues of other possible actions to overpower Dean without losing the Winchester brother. The demon possesses the Mark of Cain - which the viewers aren't clarified of what are its effects.
"We'd probably chain him up or duct tape," Padalecki said. "If he does go on a killing spree, I think a few holy water showers would do the trick."
A quoted confirmation from Jensen Ackles by Christian Today says, "There is a possible way, which might be the way that ultimately Sam saves Dean. I don't know that there's another way that we've introduced on the show. Granted, there might be another way. He might get Crowley to talk, he might get another demon to talk or maybe Castiel's got some new-found power with Metatron and his situation. I don't know. There are question marks there about what are going to happen, but there is definitely an option on the table."
Dramatic scenes may arise from the series. Jared Padalecki said, "You see in the finale a lot of what makes Sam and Dean 'Sam and Dean'. There's a lot of that brotherly love that the show is based on. So hopefully next season we bounce off of that."
Supernatural Season 10 is set to premiere this October on CW Network.
