Iron Man, The Hulk to fuse on one movie - Will Robert Downey Jr. drop Iron Man role?

By

Tony Stark "Iron Man" (Robert Downey Jr.) and Bruce Banner "The Hulk" (Mark Ruffalo) might have the chance of being on the same movie.

An installation of "Iron Man" will be released soon, and reports say it would be a good idea of injecting The Hulk on it. Moreover, The Hulk appeared on Iron Man 3 giving audiences a hint of him appearing on the next film. In addition, Robert and Mark played the same characters on The Avengers too.

"If they do Iron Man 4 and Banner is in that, that would be very cool," a quoted statement of Ruffalo from the Enstarz.

"The smart money is you have to look at everybody's age," the world's well-known superhero actor, Downey Jr., honestly said as reported by Enstarz.

"I'll put myself at the top of the list. Sooner or later, they've got to start over and get somebody young. I'm not there with them yet."

Many people are still optimistic of Robert keeping the role despite his age and condition. Undoubtedly, Robert Downey Jr. has the shadow of Iron Man beside him; which indeed would be eternal.

"I think people would love to see Robert Downey continue the Iron Man character," director of Iron Man 1 and 2, Jon Favreau said. The director remains positive despite Robert's acclaims as he added, "...But he's done it quite a bit now. I've had a few movies off, so it's a lot easier for me to say that it should be done. I hope he continues doing it and, as long as he fits in that suit, there's no reason he shouldn't."

Mark Ruffalo was questioned if The Hulk will be having his solo movie. He didn't declare any confirmation yet, but said he is hopeful and looking forward if given the opportunity.

Iron Man 4 will be starting the filming once the decision of Robert Downey Jr. is final.
