Oscar Pistorious is still on trial for being accused of killing his model girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp.
The Pistorious-Steenkamp trial was further scrutinized by CBS Network show "48-Hours" with its executive producer Susan Zirinsky comparing the case to that of O.J. Simpson.
Zirinsky further pointed out the factors that deepened the South African roadrunner. She questioned all the details of why and how he shot his model girlfriend.
"There were a lot of things that were troubling about this case," Susan said with dignity as quoted by KPop Starz.
"Unlike the O.J. case, it's not a matter of if Pistorius did it. It's a matter of why."
"Was he in a rage? Was it celebrity gone bad? So I thought, if I don't get the main interviews because I'm not going to pay for them, I'm going to find a way to do this show without them. Somebody will talk to us that doesn't have to be paid."
According to Marisa Guthrie, Oscar's case is more likely comparable to O.J. Simpsons'.
"Like O.J. Simpson, Oscar Pistorius is a famous athlete who rose to the pinnacle of his sport," she was quoted on the same site.
Meanwhile, the trial was on hold due to the psychiatrist's orders as the suspect was said experiencing anxiety disorders. "Blade Runner's" case was appointed by a "30-day long evaluation" by Judge Thokozile Masipa.
Moreover, a statement from Dr. Charles Sophy suggested that the doctors may detect if the disorder report was a false alarm and unreal. "Most of the traits that exhibit themselves for a generalized anxiety disorder will come out in things that not only will be tested for in psychological testing, such as concentration, pulse control, mood, those kinds of things," he said.
"They're also going to be looking at things like his sleep. And is it good sleep, is it continuous sleep, does he have an issue with his sleep? His eating, his energy level. The kinds of things that go through his head-is he able to be productive, or s the anxiety to a level that it almost paralyzes him through the day. There's definitely clear criteria."
