Samsung Galaxy Note 4 continues to become more interesting by the day as recent information suggests that its Exynos processor posted impressive benchmark results. Further, the posted performance results support claims that the Note 4 will be one of the most powerful devices to hit the market this year.
According to reports, the Galaxy Note 4 will be available in two variants: Exynos 5433 and Snapdragon 805. If the recent AnTuTu sightings were to be believed then Exynos 5433 will be offering better performance compared to its biggest rival. The benchmark results from AnTuTu also suggest that the two chipsets mentioned performed behind the NVIDIA Tegra K1 processor. Nonetheless, there is a comparable difference between the Exynos and the Snapdragon.
The test results showed that the Snapdragon 805 posted 35,645 points whereas the Exynos 5433 posted 40,303 points in terms of core processing power. The performance tests reveal that the higher the points the better the performance of the chip. The high score of the Exynos is not just about the base power, the SoC also revealed excellent graphic performance than the Snapdragon.
Although Samsung will be releasing two kinds of chips, it does not mean that consumers will have access to both. The Snapdragon variant may find its way to the United Kingdom and the United States while the Exynos version will be sold to international markets.
Qualcomm revealed the Snapdragon chipset late last year whereas Samsung introduced the Exynos chipset through its S5 LTE-A in Korea. Even Forbes agrees that the current LTE-A variant beats the original S5 by a long shot including in the chipset department. The benchmark results also revealed the Exynos clocked at least 1.3 GHz with the 64-bit architecture.
The Galaxy Note 4 will also reportedly come with 5.7-inch screen, 2560 x 1440 resolution and 16MP primary camera. The two variants will offer 3GB RAM with 32GB internal memory.
