The Samsung Galaxy S4 Android 4.4.2 stock firmware is now available. Users who wish to update even without the Over-the-Air update or access to Samsung KIES can do so through manual installation. The stock firmware caters specifically to Samsung Galaxy S4 GT-I9500 Exynos Octa.

Instructions on how to install:
1. Extract the Android stock firmware and Odin files.
2. Turn off the device and reboot it to Download Mode. Do this by holding and pressing the Volume Down, Power and Home buttons. Click the power button once the Android icon appears to proceed.
3. Run Odin as Administrator.
4. Connect the Samsung Galaxy S4 handset to the computer via USB. Odin will detect the device and display "Added" signal. Users should also wait for the ID:COM box to appear blue along with the COM port number. The device should be reinstalled if there is no added prompt.
5. In Odin, click on the AP option and select .tar.md5 extension.
6. In Odin as well, select Auto Reboot and F. Reset Time options. The re-partition option should not be checked.
7. Choose start to begin installation.
8. Odin will issue a PASS message after. The handset will reboot to home screen. Users can disconnect after.
