According to predictions, Apple will be having a big third quarter considering its upcoming products. More importantly, according to hardware forecasts for Apple, the tech giant will be releasing two variants of the iPhone 6, the 2014 MacBook Air and the iWatch. If analysts' claims will be true then people can expect these devices to hit around September.
iPhone 6
It has been a long standing claim that Apple has been preparing two variants of iPhone 6: a 4.7-inch version and a 5.5-inch version. Bloomberg also reported that suppliers in China have already started working on the materials and labor force for mass production this July. Apple has also cleared a number of patents featuring a number of interesting specs.
Some of the patented technologies granted to Apple include NFC for mobile payments, liquid metal plus sapphire glass for shock-proof glass and new API system. More importantly, the upcoming iOS 8 also reveals that the iPhone 6 may be able to provide 3D guided tours on selected areas. For a while now, many dummies have shown up supporting the iPhone 6 release. Forbes quotes Gordon Kelly about the matter: "Previously Apple has only supplied its most important case partners with dimensions of its new phones ahead of launch, but this time - presumably due to the extensive nature of the changes - the company has given out dummy units and they are popping up everywhere." Analysts believe the iPhone 6 phablet version will drive sales and replacement cycle.
12-inch MacBook Air Retina Air
According to Apple Insider, suppliers like Quanta Computer have been gearing up for the release of the 12-inch MacBook Air later this year. The reason for producing such a product is to differentiate between the 11-inch MacBook and the 9.7-inch iPad. The report also noted that Apple will not be changing much of the design only the dimensions of the computer including upgrades specs like processor and battery.
iWatch and Kill Switch
Daily Mail reported that Apple will be getting Kobe Bryant to endorse the iWatch. The company has also been working on the iWatch to include 10 sensors for detailed fitness data along with the ability to track a person's sweat in relation to personal health information.
