The CW's "The Originals" ended its first season with a huge impact on the viewers as it introduced Hayley's struggles after sending the "miracle baby" to live with Rebekah Mikaelson.
"We're going to see a very broken, a very lost Hayley," Phoebe Tonkin (Hayley) explained. She told how the next season circulates on frustrations. "It's sad and it's heartbreaking."
On the report of Enstarz, Hayley is expected to give all her strength in protecting her daughter. It becomes Hayley's main priority.
However, the cast are asked on an interview by TV Line about how do they feel working with a baby on set. "The baby is not the elephant in the room," Phoebe Tonkin (Hayley) said. "We definitely talk about her in the first three episodes. We don't just pretend she never happened."
"That finale was basically an apocalypse, but I suppose we're a little more bonded than we've ever been," Daniel Gillies (Elijah Mikaelson) was quoted on the same site regarding the upcoming season's twists. The site also explained that this season commences with lesser conflicts in the men of New Orleans.
"It might be a bit uneasy, but there's an alliance. Certainly, by the end, we all developed a common goal," Joseph Morgan (Klaus Mikaelson) added. With "The Originals" main star's statement, we shall suppose this season creates more action between the characters.
In addition, the upcoming season was reported to build up werewolves-driven and family-oriented plot. Mikael (patriarch of the Original family, played by Sebastian Roche) and Esther (matriarch of the Original family, played by Alice Evans) will continue to search for Klaus and the gang to accomplish vendetta.
"They're not very happy with us," Morgan was quoted on TV Line. "We're responsible for killing both of them, so I imagine they'll be seeking revenge." Klaus is predicted to be winning all the battles, for he's the strongest of all the vampires back in "The Vampire Diaries".
CW's "The Originals" will premiere its second season on October 6 at 8:00 pm ET.
