NVIDIA will be among the first ones to release the Android L on its slate. According to the company, people should expect the Android L soon on the Tegra Note 7 following Google's official release. The Tegra Note 7 is known for having a cheap price tag but with decent slate features. It runs on Tegra 4 SoC processor and has been compared to Nexus 7 which runs on Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro SoC.

NVIDIA has always made sure to put out devices offering excellent gaming and entertainment experience. Throughout the years, the company has seen to it that it updates its product line with the newest operating system. The same goes for Android L. Nonetheless, the roll out of the Android L has not been announced yet. There are no definite dates but NVIDIA did assure that it will release the mobile OS update soon as Google launches the official firmware.

NDTV reported that NVIDIA introduced the Tegra Note as a means to demonstrate how its Tegra 4 ARM processor will perform. The company has done the same thing for its graphic processors and graphics cards. Similar to Google's approach, NVIDIA allows other partners to produce similar technology so long as they carry the brand NVIDIA.

According to a report by Fudzilla, the company cannot provide exact details of the release yet because it is still waiting for Google's announcement. Tegra Note 7 users should have access to the update right after Google provides access to the official firmware. Apart from the Android L update, NVIDIA will also be in the headlines soon as it was reportedly tapped for the Google and HTC tablet, Nexus 9 or Volantis. According to reports, the device will be running on the Tegra K1 64-bit SoC dubbed Denver.

Other reported features include ART runtime and 64-bit structure support.
