“Transformer 5” Spoilers: Shia LeBeouf and Megan Fox To Return for the Sequel?

By

After the huge success of "Transformers 4: Age of Extinction" at the box office, fans all over the world are looking forward to the next sequel of the movie. Meanwhile, rumors and speculations regarding the cast and plot of the franchise's next film also start to spread.

Recent reports mention the return of Shia LeBouf and Megan Fox returning for Transformers 5. According to Movie Pilot, Fox would be ready to be part of the movie once again once Lebeouf returned to the cast.

In an interview, she revealed that she is not sure yet whether she is returning to the cast or not. "As long as things are good between everyone and Shia returns with me I'd like to see us partner up with the new cast like a crossover," she said.

Lebeouf, on the other hand, was ambiguous about the idea of returning to the movie franchise. He first stated he is interested in being part of the cast again. He expressed, however, that he is unsure if it will happen looking at the changes made since Transformers 3.

"It would be good to do another film but I doubt with the new changes since the third film that Megan could return you know, it might be a love war if me or Rosir both return," he said.

Furthermore, LeBeouf stated that he would be doing another movie by Michael Bay, but not Transformers.

Meanwhile, plans for Transformers 5 in 2016 are already slated. Producer Lorenzo do Bonaventura, however, stated it is not yet time to announce further details about the production. He told Screenrant how exhausting it is to produce such a large-scale movie as Transformers and that it definitely takes time to finish one.

There are also rumors whether Michael Bay will return to direct the next Transformers movie. Bonaventure, however, expressed they are keen to have Bay direct the movie. According to him, they are looking for ways to keep Bay "going and excited."
