According to Blacklist Fan Site, Red Reddington will have to face another enemy in the next season, who will be coming for him in the form of a ruthless female Mossad agent.
In an exclusive interview with TV Guide, John Eisendrath, executive producer of The Blacklist said that Season 2 will explore who Liz's mother. ""If the part about my dad wasn't true, what is the truth, if any, that I need to learn about my mom?," said Eisendrath about the mindset of Liz.
"Though there will be a small time jump in the show, Berlin will still very much be in the picture as the main villain in the first portion of the year," he added.
According to a Blacklist spoiler by kpopstarz.com, Jon Bokenkamp, the creative writer of the show, said in his latest interview that Reddington may or may not be Liz's father.
In the final episode of Blacklist Season 1, Tom Keen revealed to Liz that his father is alive and Red Reddington is his father.
Megan Boone (Elizabeth Keen) told DigitalSpy that she knows about the relationship between Red and Elizabeth.
"People have very confusing feelings about the relationship. I think that's interesting. People don't even understand what they feel about Reddington (James Spader) and Elizabeth Keen."
She added, "So no matter what happens throughout the story, I think they are going to feel a little bit gratified and a little bit disappointed and all the things that are really multidimensional reactions you have for a great story."
The fans of the soap are eagerly waiting to watch the new developments in the crime story in its season 2.
