Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. or Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., an American television series created for ABC by Joss Whedon, Jed Whedon, and Maurissa Tancharoen, is scheduled to premiere its second season on September 23, 2014.
Paul Lee, President of ABC, said that Season 2 will be influenced by the upcoming Marvel's movie and the aftermath from Season 1's Captain America weave-in will continue to be felt, reports Mashable.
"We had such a strong set of stories that put us through that huge finale at the end. That trigged up a whole lot of storylines that we are reading at the moment and I'm loving those scripts," he said.
The television program based on the Marvel Comics organization S.H.I.E.L.D. (Strategic Homeland Intervention, Enforcement and Logistics Division) will be adding another new character from the comic in its upcoming season, reports TV Guide.
"Let's play a game. I'll give you a description and you guess which Marvel character this newcomer might be. I hear they're casting for a ruggedly handsome, physically fit actor to play a character who can escape any situation, is a bit of a wild card and, though he's mostly interested in personal gain, always ends up doing the right thing. Get to guessing in the comments!", states TV Guide about the new character.
Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. season 2 will premiere on Tuesday, September 23, 2014 at 9.00 pm on ABC. Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. was renewed for a second season on May 8, 2014 and is scheduled to premiere on September 23, 2014.
