'Hart of Dixie' Season 4 update: Rachel Bilson pregnant, new male character to join cast, show to return on February 2015

CW's comedy/drama series "Hart of Dixie" has been renewed for a fourth season, and filming has already started. Here are things that we know so far about what's in store in Bluebell next season.

It is still unknown if the season 4 storyline will feature Rachel Bilson, who plays lead character Zoe Hart, will deal with pregnancy. Bilson is pregnant with her beau Hayden Christensen's baby--she has recently been spotted in Beverly Hills with a growing baby bump.

A charming male character is expected to join the cast. TV Line claims in a June 30 article that Ian Anthony Dale ("Hawaii Five-0) will play a recurring role of Henry Dalton, who is being described as "the man that women want, and that men want to be," and one of the most connected men in the South.

Scott Porter, who plays George Tucker, recently tweeted about shooting the first episode: "Episode 1 on Season 4 is in the books for George Tucker. Methinks this season is gonna go faster than I'd prefer. #HartOfDixie."

Meanwhile, the show has been nominated for two Teen Choice Awards (which will air on August 10): Choice TV show Drama, and Choice TV Actress Drama for Bilson.

The exact release date for "Hart of Dixie" season 4 has not yet been revealed. According to Cartermatt, there will be no new episodes in the fall, and it's likely that the show will resume in 2015.
