Despite the PDA and frequent appearances in each other's music endeavors, country artists couple Faith Hill and Tim McGraw are still being shaken by divorce rumors. The reason for the alleged million dollar separation? Tim's apparent drinking and overspending to name a few.
The couple, who have been married for 18 years, have already dispelled such allegations back in June when McGraw released the music video for "Meanwhile Back At Mama's," Enstarz states. Other than doing the usual music video stint, the pair decided to act as themselves in the clip to give everyone a look of their actual home life on their Tennessee farm. The pair also didn't go shy with the PDA when they embraced and kissed each other on stage during their 2014 CMA Festival performance.
The Examiner, however, reports that Tim's lavish partying, drug usage, and alcohol dependence are just some of the roots that have pushed Faith to threaten him with a divorce. Tim has even arrived to a point that these allegations are now considered "an open secret in Nashville."
Classicalite also dishes that the duo are having financial problems as well. A source says, "That's why they do their Las Vegas shows-but Tim still spends like he is a billionaire, and it infuriates Faith. Miranda [Lambert] has told her to put a limit on Tim's credit cards."
Faith reportedly told Tim that he will lose his family if he doesn't pull his act together. Tim, on the other hand, begged the "Breathe" singer not to leave him and even quit drugs and alcohol within days, cold turkey.
McGraw has admitted that he did struggle with substance abuse in the past but claimed Hill has helped him finally go clean. A few weeks after new divorce rumors started to resurface, McGraw also reportedly quit partying when Hill claimed that "he'd gone too far".
The couple is yet to comment about the new deluge of rumors though in the past, they have bravely denied news about their separation by displaying it through their actions.
