Terminator: Genesis, fifth movie in the Terminator series, will portray Douglas Smith as young John Connor and the filming of Arnold Schwarzenegger as the iconic cyborg will be completed in about 3 weeks.
Based on a recent report by enstartz.com, Canadian actor Douglas Smith will be portraying a young John Connor in Terminator: Genesis and Australian Actor Jason Clarke will be performing as older John Connor.
The report also states that the filming of Terminator 5 is almost complete and Arnold Schwarzenegger's role as iconic cyborg will be done in about three weeks.
Schwarzenegger told MTV News that the upcoming movie will not defy mortality for the first time. "The way that the character is written, it's a machine underneath. It's this metal skeleton. But above that is human flesh. And the Terminator's flesh ages, just like any other human being's flesh. Maybe not as fast. But it definitely ages," he said.
As per kpopstarz.com report, two T-800 robots are included in Terminator: Genesis. The younger one will be controlled by Skyney and the older is about to get re-programmed.
According to Enstartz.com, "While it had been suggested that the film will be a reboot, it is not exactly true. It has been reported that Terminator: Genesis will rewind to the first two films in the series and will move back and forth in the plot with the help of time travel scenes."
Terminator: Genesis also known as Terminator 5 is an upcoming American science fiction action film directed by Alan Taylor and written by Laeta Kalogridis and Patrick Lussier. The film is scheduled to release by Paramount Pictures on July 1, 2015.
The cast list of Terminator 5 includes Arnold Schwarzenegger, Emilia Clarke, Jason Clarke, Jai Courtney, Dayo Okeniyi, Byung-hun Lee, Matt Smith and J. K. Simmons.
The cast members will also include Sandrine Holt as Detective Cheung, Courtney B. Vance as Miles Dyson in the new sci-fi movie, reports enstartz.
