Naya Rivera and Big Sean Separation Update: Glee Co-star Chris Colfer and Show Director Ryan Murphy Speak up about the Michele-Rivera Feud

By

Naya Rivera and Big Sean's breakup is reportedly because of Rivera's co-star in Glee, Lea Michele. According to some rumors, Rivera told Glee execs about Michele's "diva" antics, while Michele's side says that she did not know about any issues. Fox also clarified rumors about Rivera being thrown off set by saying that she remains under contract to the show.

Word is that Big Sean and Naya Rivera's engagement was over because of the rapper cheating with Michele, but upon asking Chris Colfer, who works together with the two female actors on Fox's Glee, Colfer said that he would "sincerely doubt" something like that happen, says Wet Paint. He was also asked about the feud between Santana Lopez' and Rachel Berry's actors, but he went on to say that there was nothing like that and that they all experienced some sibling fights, something that was normal on set. As for hair pulling and more serious matters, Colfer denied seeing anything, but quickly added that the two should be asked about the issue, not him. "I can't spend my whole career answering or approving or disapproving rumors," Colfer said through KpopStarz's article.

As for Fox's statement that Rivera remains tied up to Glee, there are rumors that the female actor would be returning for Glee's sixth and final season for her role as Santana Lopez. Christian Today says that Rivera is sure to come back, but not as a series regular. Rivera will be guesting and there is no word yet on what episodes she will be starring in. Christian Today's article references other reports saying that Rivera requested for a shorter role.

According to a source, Michele and Rivera's apparent feud started with Rivera acting erratically on set and the producers of the show got upset with her behavior. This was around the time of her breakup with fiancé Big Sean, whom many have been speculating to have cheated on Rivera with Michele.

Michele apparently addressed the issue of their feud by saying that the two of them are fine. Michele will also be coming back on Glee, says show director Ryan Murphy. Murphy was quoted by Mail Online saying, "I don't think there is a story between Naya and Lea. Naya's coming back next year, Lea's coming back next year-anybody ever in that cast has an open invitation to come back and finish the character they so beautifully started."

Glee is set to come back for its sixth season on spring of next year.
