Robin Thicke and Paula Patton Divorce Update: Paula Tired of Robin's Laughable Apologies; Thicke Still Trying to Win Wife Back through "Paula" Album

By

Robin Thicke and Paula Patton had divorced, and it's not because of cheating according to Thicke, who admits to being too full of himself, but remains optimistic. However, Patton, who seem to be hiding from Thicke, isn't thrilled about Thicke's public apologies and album dedicated to her. Patton supporters urge Thicke to get away from his ex-wife through Twitter.

High school sweethearts Robin Thicke and Paula Patton had ended their relationship, reports Fashion and Style. The couple who has been married for nine years has broken up with cheating on the part of the "Blurred Lines" singer as the reason. However, when asked about it, the "Get Her Back" singer said that cheating was not the reason. "We're apart because we just couldn't be together anymore for a while. There's a hundred different reasons, there isn't just one," Thicke said in a recent interview. He also admitted to being selfish, greedy, and full of himself.

Thicke, who was promoting his album entitled "Paula" by answering questions hashtagged with #AskThicke on Twitter, got a lot of messages telling him to "leave Patton alone and quit trying to get her attention," according to Fashion and Style. One tweet even said that Thicke's public apology was only amounting to harassment and psychological abuse. Said tweet was even hashtagged with #domesticabuse.

This is not the first time people have commented on Thicke's public apology. The Washington Post claims that Thicke's approach wasn't at all romantic and that it could be classified as stalking. Following Thicke's public apology to Patton at the BET Awards, he promoted his new album "Paula" and the single "Get Her Back". Despite the dedication of his seventh studio album to his ex-wife, Fox News says that Thicke has not seen Patton for four months.

"Paula" debuted with only 25,000 copies sold, and many are wondering if this has affected the singer emotionally. The singer has reportedly cancelled his performance for the Indiana State Fair this August 1, says KpopStarz.

According to Thicke, Patton is "the best girl in the world, a great mother and still a good friend. But I also want to wish her well and let her know that she's a great person and she deserves to have a good life." IB times identifies the singer to be hopeful in getting Patton back, but in her interview with Star Magazine, Classicalite reports Patton saying that she is done with "Robin, his laughable apologies, and their marriage".

Can the two still reconcile, or is really over for the love birds?
