Hannibal, an American psychological thriller-horror television series developed by Bryan Fuller for NBC, is set for its next season. The entertainment world is eagerly waiting to watch Hannibal Season 3.
According to breathcast.com, Hannibal had an impressive rating for its second season with an average of 3.9 million viewers. Due to the high rating received for the show, NBC renewed the show for a third season on May 9, 2014.
Talking to Huffington Post about his role in the upcoming season Michael Pitt (Mason Verger) said, "We are trying to work it out. The truth is it is really just a scheduling thing. I have a lot on my plate right now, and I hope it works out. If it doesn't work out, it certainly is about scheduling."
Though Pitt is not sure about his role in Hannibal season 3, Show runner Bryan Fuller would love to include him in the cast list. "I love the energy and the douchebaggery that he brings with such glee and zeal to the character," he told AV Club.
Based on fashionnstyle.com, Laurence Fishburne will join Hannibal as Jack Crawford in the upcoming season of the program.
"I'm not going to do a full season of 'Hannibal' this year, and I'm not going to do a full season of 'Black-ish', which will keep me free enough for both, to have fun and to contribute as best I can," he told fashionnstyle.com.
In an exclusive interview with Digital Spy, Bryan Fuller talked about Hannibal Season 3, "We are going to do something similar to what we did last season, where we break it into two chapters - one seven-episode chapter and one six-episode chapter. We have broken out that first chapter in broad strokes, and now we are going through and doing the outlines, and we're right in the middle of episode four."
Hannibal series is based on characters and elements appearing in the novel Red Dragon by Thomas Harris and focuses on the budding relationship between FBI special investigator Will Graham and Dr. Hannibal Lecter, a forensic psychiatrist destined to become Graham's most cunning enemy.
