This season of "The Bachelorette" is nearly at an end. Next week, Andi Dorfman will finally have to choose the man she wants to marry- either tall, dark and handsome baseball player Josh Murray, or Nick Viall, who was somewhat of a villain this season (even if Dorfman still has the hots for him).
Naturally, all those watching "The Bachelorette" are busy speculating who will be the lucky guy. And apparently, this includes Desiree Hartsock, who was last year's "Bachelorette." Hartsock, on her blog, posted a piece about last week's episode of "The Bachelorette," in which she assessed Andi's relationship with the two remaining men.
Hartsock never says it outright, but it sounds like she's secretly pulling for Nick. At one point, she states the following:
"Nick's love for Andi is apparent in the way that he looks at her. Andi mentioned a couple times that their relationship felt like an 'adult romance' and well, to me that is what a lasting marriage looks like."
She never attributes the same level of maturity to Josh, and at one point seems to suggest that Josh's goofy nature might be a detriment to their relationship.
"Yes, you can have fun and be goofy (that keeps the passion alive) but as for getting through differences or being able to discuss important milestones there has to be a maturity and an openness in both to understand where each other are coming from."
A final thought on Josh seems to confirm that Desiree is on Team Nick:
"The two words that Andi kept using to describe her relationship with Josh was 'young & vibrant'. With that said, I can see where some other concerns lie in her relationship with Josh and being able to have serious conversations or get through differences. A relationship can't maintain on fun alone, there has to be maturity there for a solid foundation to get through life together and to grow."
Other "Bachelorette fans are still pining for Chris Soules, who was eliminated in the same week. A new poll shows a majority of fans would prefer Chris to have stayed on the show. Rumors are also circulating that Hartsock and her fiance Chris Siegfried might get married in an ABC "Bachelorette" special.
"The Bachelorette" finale airs Monday, July 28.
