Rihanna and Drake Update: Drake and Chris Brown Become Best Friends, Rihanna "Happy"

By

Breakups are tough enough as it is, but a breakup in the public eye is bound to be far, far worse. That's the case for singing superstar Rihanna and her ex-boyfriend Drake (again, another massively popular musician), who broke up recently.

To make matters worse, Drake has reportedly become fast friends with Chris Brown, another ex of Rihanna's (only one who was also convicted of assaulting her). According to new reports, Chris Brown and Drake have been recording new music together, as well as making public appearances in awards shows and comedy skits.

Normally, when your exes become friends, it tends to sting. But according to Rihanna, she's ok with all this. According to HollywoodLife, "She is not angry that they are working together. She is actually happy she wasn't made the butt of any jokes or jabs though."

Although, according to the site, Rihanna had an assistant watch the ESPYs (where Drake and Chris Brown appeared together) to ensure that neither of them were making fun of her.

However, a new wrinkle may have just been made in their somewhat stable relationships. According to another scoop, Chris Brown has been drunk dialing Rihanna. At first, the female singer was apprenhensive, but recently it is said she has begun flirting back to his drunk texts. It's unclear how this will affect the fast friendship between Brown and Drake.

Allegedly, Drake and Rihanna's relationship began to crumble after Drake admitted that his music career came first and Rihanna came second. As well, the same reports allege that Drake does not care if Rihanna is upset at his friendship with Chris Brown (it's a good thing she's not, then).

These are some pretty callous words, which definitely explain why the two have had such a messy split.
