By

Although the iPhone 6 has generated tons of speculation and rumors in the tech world, there are also rumors of the alleged smartwatch that Apple will release as well. Here are some of the things to expect from Apple's upcoming iWatch.

1. Flexible display

-Most sources suggest that the iWatch will sport a flexible display that will be supplied by LG. Although others have reported that Apple will use the super flexible "Willow Glass" made by Corning.

2. Focused on Fitness

-Fitness is said to be the center stage of the iWatch. Most experts and sources say that the device will feature biometric sensors for gathering data that is essential to health. Examples of these would be sensors for heart rate, calorie intake, body temperature, breathing rate, etc.

3. Synced with iPhone, Mac and iPad

-The iWatch will expectedly be compatible for iPhones, Macs, and iPads. It will let users control their devices from the wrist watch and access notifications and common functions at a glance. Expect being able to answer calls and read messages from the iWatch. People may also find the usual controls that have been released on other smart watches, but with additional features because Apple has a reputation of bringing in niche products into the mainstream. It was never the first in the MP3 player or smart phone business, but the iPhone has dominated each product class.

4. Battery charging

-We all know that gadgets these days have very small battery life due to all the functions and capabilities that they possess. The iWatch's battery will most likely be charged via magnetic induction technology similar to Nokia's smartphones. This technology is used by placing the gadget on a magnetic mat and is recharged without any cables. Digitaltrends has reported that Apple may be looking to solar and kinetic energy to add to the wireless charging to help the device's battery last as long as possible.
