Mark Hamill, who is famous for playing the role of Luke Skywalker in the original Star Wars movie, spoke how he felt to be back on the set of the movie "Star Wars: Episode VII." Hamill's return to the set of the science fiction series have been after more than 30 years.
The 62-year-old actor starred in the first "Star Wars" films. The first of the three movies he starred in was released in 1977. The franchise was later revived in 2002, where the Luke Skywalker character he played was only seen as a baby in "Episode III (Revenge of the Sith)."
In a BBC interview with Hamill, he discussed about what he thinks about the members of the cast. He even said he is thinking of asking them for advice.
"To go on to those sets that evoked so many memories. It is just astonishing. These kids- they are not kids- but they are so talented. They are also diverse. There are people I recognize like Andy Serkis and new people that I've never seen before like Daisy Ridley," Hamill said.
The actor also described his feelings to be back on the "Star Wars" franchise, of which he said that he did not imagine happening. He added, "It was certainly unexpected. I already had a beginning, middle and end. I never thought we'd come back. I still can't believe it's happening."
Hamill also revealed that he was "contractually obligated" to keep his facial hair, HNGN reports.
On the other hand, rhe actor talked about the leg injury obtained by fellow and original franchise actor Harrison Ford (Han Solo) recently. He stated, "I was not on set [during the incident]. It was really terrible, but I hear he's doing really well. It will take more than that to stop Harrison Ford."
"Star Wars: Episode VII" will be released on December 18, 2015.
