Executive producer Jeremy Carver recently provided fans with some hints on what will happen on the highly-anticipated tenth season of the hit TV series "Supernatural". Carver also revealed that the story of the next season will revolve around the relationship between the Winchester brothers (Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles), who will be left dealing with the death of one of them.
In the previous season, Dean was killed but the character was reincarnated into a powerful demon, which has been disclosed by Padalecki, who had since disclosed that the season will focus mainly on Dean as a demon, Christian Today reported. It has been suggested that Dean would be meeting various challenges as his character is known to hate demons. In the upcoming season, Sam will go on a journey to track and find his brother, who has gone out of control after his demon side ruled his body.
Carver told Zapit.com that viewers will see a new character on its tenth season. According to the report, the new character, who is named Cole, will be looking for Dean. Cole is said to be someone from Dean's past who would be looking for the Winchester brother for a special reason. Moreover, Carver disclosed that the character is said to be unaware of the fact Dean has transformed into a demon.
"He's a guy that has a terrific amount of hunting skills, but he's not a hunter in our sense of the word. He has no idea that the monster world exists, so imagine his surprise when he comes across the man he's been hunting and he is something other than human. He's a pretty cool character," Carver added.
Ackers had also provided hints about his character, International Business Times reported. He said that Dean will be traveling around with fellow demon and current King of Hell, Crowley, played by actor Mark Sheppard, and would be getting involved in different situations.
"Sam can't find him because he doesn't want to be found. Because [Dean is] having fun and he knows that if Sam finds him, he's going to do his best to reverse the demon in him. But he's like, 'I've got the golden ticket,'" the actor shared to TVLine.
The new season's premiere episode will air on October 7.
