Moto X+1 Release Imminent with 5.1-inch Full HD 1080p Display, Qualcomm and 25 Colors

These past few months, there have been a lot of rumors surrounding Motorola's Moto X successor. With the countless reports surfacing up, people may think they have heard everything. That is not until they know about the design of the Moto X+1. Recently leaked pictures show a wooden backside with aluminum rounding up the edges. It looks just like the original Moto X, Moto G, and Moto E. The photo is allegedly the near-final prototype device.

The Moto X+1 is said to carry a 5.1 inch screen, a large increase from the former 4.7 inch screen of the Moto X. Another change in the Moto X+1 is its speakers, which are now dual, front facing speakers. It also features a 3.5mm audio jack on top, with the power and volume buttons on the right side of the device. If it were not for these features, users would not be able to tell the difference for any other older model Moto.

There will reportedly be other back plate options aside from the original wood back plate. There should be plastic colors, as well as leather back plates. Serial tipster @evleaks has suggested that there will be 25 different color options for the back plate in five categories - the original wood, leather, cool, neutral, and warm.

Based on other benchmarks and sources, the phone is expected to be a step better than the previous model. Specifications may include a full HD 1080p display, an impressive 12 megapixel rear camera with a dual LED flash, and a 5 megapixel front facing camera. For its internal specs, it could possibly sport a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 Processor, 2GB of RAM, a choice of either 32GB or 64GB of internal storage, and a large 2,900 mAh battery that will give users long battery life.

Motorola has yet to release an official announcement about the device.
