CMA Music Festival: Country's Night to Rock Will Be Aired on Tuesday, and It Just Got Hotter; duet by Miranda Lambert and Carrie Underwood and more

By

CMA previously announced new artists to be performing, including Jason Aldean, Dierks Bentley, Hunter Hayes, Brad Paisley, Rascal Flatts, Thomas Rhett, Cole Swindell, the Band Perry, Keith Urban, and an exciting concert duet by Miranda Lambert and Carrie Underwood.

But wait, there's more. The three-hour special - filmed during the sold-out Music Festival in June - is hosted for the second time by reigning Vocal Group of the Year, Little Big Town, according to The Lebanon Democrat.

Included in the special are Luke Bryan, Eric Church with special guest Izzy Hale, Florida Georgia Line, Brantley Gilbert, Lady Antebellum and Blake Shelton with season 2 contestant of "The Voice" Gwen Sebastian.

According to NewsOK, this America's largest Country music celebration will be broadcasted by ABC for the 10th time. The annual special will air on ABC through 2021, according to a news release.

The Futon Critic reports that the last year's airing of the CMA Festival dominated 2012's telecast by 46 percent in viewers and by 33 percent in Adults 18-49. 2013's special led the biggest audience on ABC, since it's first air on the television network in 2005.

The festival's home, Nashville, received $39.3 million in direct visitor spending. "Nashville is fortunate that CMA Fest calls the city home. The uniqueness of the event combined with the collaboration of CMA with the city, the NCVC, and music industry has resulted in record-breaking success." Ken Levitan, chairman of the NCVC board of directors, president of Vector Management and a member of the CMA board of directors told the reports.

"CMA Music Festival: Country's Night to Rock" is executive-produced by Robert Deaton.
