"I'm psyched. It's my birthday! Go, Lizzie. It's your birthday!," "Real Housewives of Orange County" star Lizzie Bovsek sang happily as she boards a party limousine for her 34th birthday celebration, People magazine reported.
Alas, it might have been Rovsek's worst birthday ever.
In the latest episode of "RHOC," the rich entrepreneur had to force back sobs as she hears from her supposed "friends" in the show, Shannon Beador and Tamra Barney, that they would not be coming. Bustle observed that Rovsek even went all the way by renting out a party limousine with stripper poles.
"I don't think I've ever had a birthday party where no one showed up," she was quoted as saying in the show.
Although almost everyone ditched her birthday party, someone did arrive. It was her best pal Vicki Gunvalson, 52, People said.
Rovsek said to Gunvalson, "I knew you would not let me down."
"Thank God I'm here or you will be sitting here by yourself," Gunvalson responded as they were clinking their champagne glasses.
Bustle said that Rovsek, being a new cast member in the show, might have been a factor on why she didn't have the birthday she would have expected to be played on television. With this in mind, Guanvalson talked a lot about almost everyone to Rovsek. She told her about (Heather and) the Dubrows, who she claimed to have really wanted to take down the Beadors.
She also cautioned the birthday celebrant about being friends with Tamra. "Being friends with Tamra is complicated. So if you are, be prepared to get hurt," she said.
Meanwhile, Starcasm said that Tamra's absence from the episode is now for the long-term. The reality star is reportedly fired from the show after she posted a negative blog entry about her employer and accused the latter of editing her text messages so that it will look like that she had canceled her plans to attend Bovsek's birthday party at the last minute. One other mishap was that Tamra also shared a screengrab of her text conversation with Bovsek, and forgot to blur out her co-star's mobile phone number. You can expect where we are going with this one.
On the other hand, it looks like Bovsek's birthday party on the show would be her very last, at least on "RHOC." Citing an insider, RadarOnline has confirmed that Bovsek has been also axed from the show because she was 'too boring' for the show's tastes. Moreover, the insider added that Shannon, despite not attending the birthday party, will definitely be asked back for another season.
